Blood moon 2015 doomsday prophecies predict an “end of days,” or the Rapture, to occur on September 28. The fourth lunar eclipse in the past two years is known as a tetrad. The blood moon eclipse will occur on the first night of Sukkot — a Jewish holiday. The best-selling book, The Harbinger, by Jonathan Cahn, also warns that some apocalyptic type of event might be on the horizon before the end of the month.
A blood moon is a full lunar eclipse, where the rays of the sun enter the Earth’s atmosphere and cast a red, or “blood-like,” color, NewsMax explains.
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes,” the Book of Joel passage states.
The first three blood moons also occurred on Jewish holidays. The first happened during Passover on April 15, 2014, the second during Sukkot on October 8, 2014, and the third during Passover earlier this year on April 4.
During an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network, evangelical preacher John Hagee said blood moons have always been historically linked with a period which “begins with a tragedy and ends with a triumph” for the Jewish people.
“There’s a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way,” Pastor Hagee added. “I believe that in these next two years, we’re going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world.”
Blood Moon Prophecies
The appearance of four consecutive blood moons, which coincide with Jewish holidays has only happened 10 times since the year 1, according to the End Time website. Events which have had a significant impact on the Jewish people have reportedly occurred in “close proximity” of the blood moon tetrads.
