Come Unto Me

Matthew 11:28-30: 28 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Put My yoke upon your shoulders—it might appear heavy at first, but it is perfectly fitted to your curves. Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. When you are yoked to Me, your weary souls will find rest. 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

When Jesus invited the people in His day to “come unto Him,” He is still say those same words to us today.

Jesus said: “To come unto Him,” why, because He is the One and Only who is well able to calm your soul from all distracting, manipulating spirits that are out there ready to steal your peace.

As the days draw closer to His return, we can expect demonic activity to increase.

These are days whereby we must draw near to the Holy Spirit who will empower us to boldly stand for righteousness in the days, hours, moments, and years to come, or for as long by His Spirit breath, God will allow us to remain on this earth for such a time as this.

While the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.

Signs of the end times are all around us. Spirits of death (death comes in many forms), destruction, famine, perilous times, pestilences, and diseases are running rampant against the human race in the battle for souls.

It is Satan’s jobs to weary the saints of God. the evil one will cause God’s people to carry false burdens, and all manner of circumstance to weaken the human spirit.

The purpose of all this manipulation is to cause a person to want to give up as opposed to pressing forward with the call of God on their lives.

The call of God is not complicated, but be assured Satan will use a situation to cause a complication which comes to confuse, distort, or to cause a person to lose their focus concerning what God has and wants for them to accomplish here on the earth.

Be assured, the complication comes as an interruption, but can never stop what God has spoken concerning His plans for you.

Jesus knows we will go through trying times, and this is why He tells us “to cast our cares upon Him,”

why, because His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Jesus is the Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace. He is the peace giver, He is the Great and Good Shepherd who nourishes and supplies our every need.

Father God in Isaiah 26:3 said that He will keep those whose mind is focused in on Him in perfect peace.

Jesus is the Peace Giver, and if the enemy of our souls can steal our peace and joy, he will do this by whatever means he can.

This walk we are in as we make our journey back is not an easy one, but for those who remain to the call, God will give a perfect peace which transcends all human understanding.

Do you want peace for your soul, do you want rest for your soul, then the answer is to take your focus from off of the situation that is causing you to become weary, and turn your eyes upon Jesus.

Is it easy, no it isn’t, is it possible, yes it is, because Says So! Do you believe, then receive His peace and rest for your soul. God bless you 🙂
